Tracey has a strong work ethic that she attributes to her father’s ‘school of hard knocks’ approach to parenting. She was the first recipient of the Richard Hadlee Sports Scholarship when she competed in the World Youth Latin American Dancing competition in Germany as a 19-year-old.
Tracey completed a Bachelor of Commerce Degree, and despite when asked in a job interview “are you hungry [for sales]?”, and replying, “No, I’ve just had breakfast”, she picked up a job selling radio advertising … a long way from home, in Invercargill. Her next sales role was as a mortgage broker in the late 90’s for Mike Pero Mortgages in Christchurch. She moved to Auckland and became a successful and widely respected mortgage adviser for the best part of two decades. It was during this time Tracey co-founded, what is now known as, Love My Money.
The driving force behind founding Love My Money is to help Kiwis get on top of their finances and ensure a brighter financial future for individuals, families and the country.
“Too many people don’t know what to do, so end up doing nothing. Love My Money aims to change that by showing people, that in many instances, a lot can be achieved with a bit of knowledge and effort.”
Love My Money is a self-help website where users can take an online Journey to address financial problems or goals. If, or when, the time is right we have carefully chosen financial product partners available for you to speak to for personal advice.
